Pea Gravel is sometimes assumed to be small in size due to it's name, but that's just not the case. Also not widely known—it is actually River Rock. It's just smoother, and generally used for gravel type projects. Pea Gravel is commonly used as a decorative gravel. Great for walkways, garden paths, patios, or even as an alternitive to limestone to fill a driveway (giving a unique and very beautiful outcome). As we mentioned, Pea Gravel is smooth, so it also makes for a safer choice when buying for the childrens outside play area.
